Privacy Policy
Last updated June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [Company legal name] (“we”, “us”), the company behind SEOmonster (seomonster.ai), handles your information. We built SEOmonster for busy local business owners, so we keep this in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at [support email].
The short version
- We only collect what we need to audit your online presence and do the work you hired us to do.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for anyone else's advertising.
- If you connect your Google account, we use that access only to improve and manage your rankings — never to read unrelated data. See How we access your Google account.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Information we collect
We collect a small, purposeful set of information:
- What you give us. Your business website or business name, your email address, and anything else you type into our forms (for example, when you request an audit or sign up).
- Your business's public web presence. When you run an audit, we fetch and analyze the public pages of the website you give us — the same pages anyone can see.
- Google account data. If you choose to connect Google, we receive only the specific, limited data covered by the permissions you approve. Details are in our Google access page.
- Basic usage and device data. Standard logs such as your IP address and browser type, which help us keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- Payment information. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
How we use your information
- To run your audit and show you the results.
- To do the work you signed up for — improving your rankings, Google Business Profile, posts, reviews, and listing details.
- To email you reports, updates, and account messages.
- To keep the service running, secure, and free of abuse, and to comply with the law.
We use AI tools to help analyze your site and draft content. We don't use your personal information to train third-party AI models, and we don't sell it.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run SEOmonster— for example, our hosting, database, email delivery, payment, and AI providers — and only so they can do that work for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our users and our service. We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and other reasonable safeguards. When you connect Google, the access tokens that let us act on your behalf are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it for the purposes above. When you ask us to delete it — or after a reasonable period once your account is closed — we delete or anonymize it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices and rights
- You can disconnect your Google account at any time — see How we access your Google account.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
To make any of these requests, email [support email]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws.
Children
SEOmonsteris a tool for businesses and is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service grows. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and, when appropriate, let you know by email.
